Shared Hosting — Fast, Managed Hosting for First Websites

What shared hosting is

Shared hosting puts your website on a server shared with other customers. We manage the server — the operating system, security updates, the control panel and the network — and you manage your website through the panel. It is the simplest and lowest-cost way to get a site online, and it is the right starting point for most new websites.

Who it is for

  • A first website for a business, portfolio or project.
  • A personal or company blog.
  • A small business site with modest, steady traffic.
  • A landing page or brochure site.
  • Anyone who wants hosting managed for them and does not need root access.

Realistic use cases

  • Business brochure site: pages, contact form, map and a few images. Fits comfortably.
  • Blog: regular posts, images and comments. Fits comfortably.
  • Small storefront: a small catalogue with a contact or order form. Fits; a busy WooCommerce store with many daily orders belongs on WordPress or VPS hosting.

Shared hosting is not the right choice for high-traffic sites, heavy applications, large databases, or workloads that need root access or a custom server stack. Those belong on a VPS or VDS.

Included vs excluded

Included: managed server and control panel, website hosting for the plan’s domain limit, email accounts per the plan, databases per the plan, SSL where listed, and support for the server and panel.

Excluded: domain registration (separate, unless a plan states otherwise), your website’s design, content and code, third-party themes and plugins, payment processing, and application-level debugging. Backup inclusion and retention are [RESOURCE — TO BE CONFIRMED] — do not assume backups exist unless the plan table says so.

Management boundaries

Shared hosting is fully managed at the server level. We handle the operating system, web server software, security patching and the control panel. You handle your website: its files, its CMS and plugins, its content, its email use, and its own backups where the plan does not include them. You do not get root or SSH access on shared hosting [TO BE CONFIRMED].

Setup process

  1. Choose a plan and a billing term.
  2. Register a domain or point an existing one at our nameservers.
  3. Pay — the account is provisioned after payment is confirmed. Provisioning time is [TO BE CONFIRMED].
  4. Log in to the control panel and install your CMS or upload your site.
  5. Check the site on its domain, set up email accounts, and install SSL.

Migration conditions

We can help move an existing site from another shared host. Migration covers files and databases within the plan’s storage and resource limits; very large sites and custom server configurations may be excluded or charged separately — scope and any fee are [PRICE — TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER]. DNS is switched only after the copied site is tested, and the old hosting should not be cancelled until the new site is confirmed working.

Upgrade path

Shared — Starter → Shared — Business → Shared — Pro → WordPress hosting or VPS hosting. Upgrades move your files, databases and email to the new plan. When a site consistently hits CPU, memory or entry-process limits, that is the signal to move to a VPS rather than a larger shared plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is shared hosting fast enough for my site?
For a brochure site, blog or small business site, yes. Speed also depends on your site’s own code, images and plugins.

Can I host more than one website?
That depends on the plan’s domain limit in the table above. The Starter plan may allow one site; higher plans allow more — limits are [RESOURCE — TO BE CONFIRMED].

Do I get email with shared hosting?
Email accounts are included per the plan table. Limits and mailbox sizes are [RESOURCE — TO BE CONFIRMED].

Are backups included?
Backup inclusion, frequency and retention are [RESOURCE — TO BE CONFIRMED]. Keep your own copy of important content regardless.

Can I install WordPress?
Yes — one-click installation is [TO BE CONFIRMED], and WordPress runs on shared hosting. For a WordPress-focused setup, also see WordPress Hosting.

What happens if my site gets too much traffic?
Traffic spikes can hit shared resource limits and slow the site. The fix is a larger plan or a move to a VPS.
