Dedicated Hosting — Whole Physical Servers
What a dedicated server is
A dedicated server is a whole physical machine rented to one customer. No other customer shares its CPU, RAM or disks. You choose the hardware configuration, the operating system, and — where offered — whether it is managed or unmanaged. It is the most powerful and most flexible hosting we offer, and the one that asks the most of you if you manage it yourself.
Who it is for
- High-traffic websites and large WooCommerce or custom stores.
- Business platforms, SaaS products and busy APIs.
- Agencies or businesses consolidating many sites onto one machine.
- Workloads with compliance, isolation or hardware requirements a virtual machine cannot meet.
- Anyone who has outgrown a VPS or VDS and needs the whole machine.
Realistic use cases
- Large store: thousands of products, steady daily orders, and checkout speed that directly affects revenue.
- SaaS platform: an application and database serving paying customers around the clock.
- High-traffic content site: a publication whose traffic spikes with news or campaigns.
- Multi-site hosting: dozens of client sites on one machine with room to grow.
- Custom infrastructure: a server running specialised software, a private cloud, or a dedicated database.
A dedicated server is not the right choice for a first website or a small blog — shared hosting costs far less and needs no server administration. It is also a poor fit if you want hosting you never have to think about, unless you buy a managed option.

Included vs excluded
Included: the physical server with the hardware in the table, network connectivity, power and cooling in the data centre, remote reboot and console access where offered [TO BE CONFIRMED], and support for the hardware and network.
Excluded unless stated: control panel licence (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin — priced separately, [PRICE — TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER]), operating system licences such as Windows Server where applicable, managed services, application installation and debugging, your application’s code and data, and backups unless the plan includes them. Backup inclusion and retention are [RESOURCE — TO BE CONFIRMED].
Management boundaries
Dedicated management options are [TO BE CONFIRMED] — whether each plan is managed, unmanaged, or offered both ways, and what “managed” covers (OS patching, panel, security hardening, monitoring, backup checks). Until confirmed, assume an unmanaged server: you are responsible for the operating system, security updates, firewall, backups and everything installed on it. We are responsible for the hardware, the network and the data centre. Hardware failure handling and replacement timeframes are [TO BE CONFIRMED].
Setup process
- Choose a plan or request a custom configuration.
- Pay — provisioning starts after payment is confirmed. Provisioning time for dedicated hardware is [TO BE CONFIRMED] and is longer than for a VPS.
- The server is racked, tested and installed with your chosen OS.
- Receive root credentials through the panel or by email [TO BE CONFIRMED].
- Log in, update the OS, set up a firewall, install your stack, and configure backups.
- Point your domains at the server IP and test before going live.
Migration conditions
Moving to a dedicated server is a planned migration, not a one-click move. Files, databases, email and configuration all move, and the stack is set up on the new machine. Hands-on migration assistance, its scope, timing and any fee are [PRICE — TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER]. DNS is switched only after the new server is tested, and the old hosting is cancelled only after the new server is confirmed working.
Upgrade path
Dedicated — Standard → Dedicated — Performance → custom hardware or additional servers. A dedicated server can also be combined with a VPS, a VDS or n8n hosting — for example, the store on dedicated hardware and automation on n8n hosting. Scaling options and any downtime are [TO BE CONFIRMED].
Frequently asked questions
How long does setup take?
Dedicated provisioning takes longer than a VPS because hardware must be prepared. The timeframe is [TO BE CONFIRMED].
Do I get root access?
Yes. A dedicated server comes with root access and full control of its software.
Is the server managed?
Management options are [TO BE CONFIRMED]. Do not assume management is included.
What happens if hardware fails?
Hardware replacement and any service-level terms are [TO BE CONFIRMED]. RAID configuration, where offered, protects against a single-disk failure; it is not a backup.
Are backups included?
Backup inclusion, frequency and retention are [RESOURCE — TO BE CONFIRMED]. Keep your own off-server backups regardless.
Can I get more IP addresses?
Additional IPv4 addresses are available subject to justification and policy — [PRICE — TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER].
