Envato Hosting — Hosting for Licensed Envato Scripts | Offshore Hosting
Envato marketplaces sell scripts and applications — booking systems, directories, marketplaces, SaaS starters, and more. Buying the script is only the first step: it still needs a server configured the way its documentation requires. Envato Hosting provides that environment, and tells you honestly where hosting support ends and the script vendor’s support begins.
Who It Suits
Envato Hosting suits buyers who hold a legitimate licence for a script purchased from an Envato marketplace and want it deployed on a server that matches its documented requirements. It suits individuals launching a single-script project and small teams running one licensed application as their business.
Who It Does NOT Suit
It does not suit anyone running a script without a valid licence, a nulled or pirated copy, or a script obtained from anywhere other than a legitimate purchase. It also does not suit buyers who expect the hosting provider to fix bugs inside the script itself, add features to it, or provide the vendor’s own documentation and updates — those belong to the vendor.
Legitimately Licensed Scripts Only
- We host scripts that you have legitimately licensed from Envato marketplaces. A valid purchase code or licence must be held by you for each script you ask us to deploy.
- We do not host nulled, cracked, or otherwise unlicensed copies of commercial scripts. If a script’s licence cannot be verified, we will not deploy it.
- Licence verification method: [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER].
- Your licence terms come from Envato and the script author. We do not interpret licence terms for you, and we do not sell or resell Envato licences.
PHP and Node.js Requirements
Scripts differ in what they need. We configure the environment from the script’s own published requirements, not from a guess.
- PHP scripts: PHP versions available on our servers are [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER]. We set the PHP version your script requires where the server supports it. Node.js scripts: Node.js versions available are [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER], with long-running processes configured per script requirements.
- Tell support the script’s name, version, and its documented requirements before ordering. If the requirements fall outside what our servers provide, we will say so before you pay.
Extensions and Configuration
- Common PHP extensions are available on our servers. The exact extension list is [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER]. If your script needs a specific extension, name it when you order so we can confirm it is installed and enabled.
- Configuration values such as upload limits, execution time, and memory limits are set within the bounds of your plan. Values that exceed plan limits require a plan change. We do not modify a script’s code to make it run on an unsuitable environment — if a script genuinely requires a different stack, the honest answer is a different stack.
Cron Jobs
Many scripts depend on scheduled tasks — sending queued emails, expiring listings, generating reports, or cleaning up old data.
- Cron jobs are supported on our hosting. Cron configuration is [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER]. You provide the schedule and command from the script’s documentation — we can help you enter it, but we do not write the script’s scheduled tasks for you.
- If a scheduled task fails, check the script’s logs first. Hosting support can confirm whether the cron job ran; diagnosing what the script did when it ran is vendor support.
Databases
- Your script’s database runs on the database server included with your plan. Supported database software and versions: [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER].
- Import your database through the tools provided, or ask support for help with an import that the control panel cannot complete.
- Keep database credentials out of public files and out of version control. If credentials are exposed, change them immediately and tell support.
Licence Activation
- If activation fails, the error message usually identifies the cause: an incorrect code, a domain mismatch, or a licence already used elsewhere. Those are vendor matters, and the vendor’s support channel is the right place to resolve them.
Hosting Support vs Script and Vendor Support
This distinction matters, and we state it plainly:
| Issue | Who handles it |
|---|---|
| Server is down, hosting panel unreachable | Offshore Hosting |
| PHP version or extension missing | Offshore Hosting |
| Cron job not running at all | Offshore Hosting |
| Database server unavailable | Offshore Hosting |
| Script shows an error after a correct install | Script vendor |
| Script feature does not work as documented | Script vendor |
| Licence activation rejected | Script vendor |
| Bug in the script’s code | Script vendor |
| Feature request or customisation | Script vendor or your developer |
When you contact us, describe the symptom and what you already checked. If the problem is on our side, we fix it. If it is on the vendor’s side, we will say so and point you to the right channel rather than keep you waiting.
Backups
- Backups of your script files and database follow the schedule included with your plan. Backup frequency and retention: [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER].
- Before updating a script to a new version, take a backup. Script updates can change the database, and a failed update without a backup is difficult to reverse.
- Keep your own copy of the original script package and your purchase code outside the hosting account.
Requirements
- A valid Envato licence for the script, its published system requirements, and a domain name for the installation.
- Access to the script’s documentation, so requirements and cron schedules can be taken from the source rather than from memory.
Responsibilities
- We handle: the server environment, runtime versions and extensions within plan limits, cron execution, and the backup schedule included with your plan.
- You handle: your licence, the script itself, its installation and updates, its configuration, your data, and all communication with the script vendor.
Limits
- Resource limits depend on your plan and are [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER].
- We do not provide script customisation, bug fixes inside script code, or vendor licence interpretation.
- Support hours: [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER].
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you install my Envato script for me?
Installation assistance availability is [TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER]. If installation is included, it covers a standard install following the script’s documentation, not customisation.
My script needs a PHP version you do not list. What now?
Tell support the exact version. If the server supports it, we will set it. If it does not, we will tell you before you order so you can make an informed decision.
The script author says the problem is hosting. What do I do?
Send us the author’s message and the error. We will check the hosting side and give you a written answer you can take back to the vendor.
Do you keep my purchase code?
No. Your purchase code and licence credentials are yours. We never ask you to send them to us.
Get Started
Send support the script’s name, its version, and a link to its requirements page. We will confirm the runtime, extensions, and plan size — and tell you if anything about the deployment needs a different approach.
