Offshore Hosting — Hosting Outside Your Home Jurisdiction
What offshore hosting is
Offshore hosting means hosting your website or application on servers located in a jurisdiction other than your own — typically one chosen for its privacy law, its regulatory environment, or its distance from your home country’s authorities. The hosting itself is the same technology as any other hosting: shared accounts, VPS, VDS and dedicated servers. What differs is where the servers sit and which law applies to them.
Which jurisdiction our servers are in, and what that means in practice, is [TO BE CONFIRMED] and will be stated in our legal pages once verified.
Who it is for
- Businesses that want their data held under a different jurisdiction’s law.
- Publishers, journalists and organisations that value hosting outside their home country.
- Companies serving an international audience that want servers nearer their users.
- Site owners who want a provider whose data practices are governed by a privacy framework they prefer.
- Anyone who has a legitimate reason to separate their hosting jurisdiction from their home jurisdiction.
Who it is not for
Offshore hosting is not for hiding illegal activity. It is not for spam, phishing, fraud, malware, copyright infringement, or any other abuse. If that is the use case, do not order — the account will be actioned under our acceptable-use policy and applicable law.
What offshore hosting does and does not do
What it can do: place your data under a different jurisdiction’s law; give you a provider relationship governed by that jurisdiction; in some cases, add a layer of procedural protection around data requests, because a request must go through the correct legal channel in the correct jurisdiction.
What it does not do: it does not make you immune from law. It does not override lawful requests made through the proper channels. It does not protect content that is illegal in the server’s jurisdiction. It does not make abuse complaints disappear — we still act on them.
Jurisdiction and privacy
- Server location(s): [TO BE CONFIRMED]
- Governing law for the hosting agreement: [TO BE CONFIRMED]
- Data protection law that applies: [TO BE CONFIRMED]
- How lawful data requests are handled: [TO BE CONFIRMED]
- Data retention policy: [TO BE CONFIRMED]
- WHOIS and registration privacy: [TO BE CONFIRMED]
Nothing in this section is a legal promise. The legal pages, once published, will state the position precisely. If you need legal advice about jurisdiction, consult a lawyer — we are a hosting provider, not a law firm.
Choosing a plan
Offshore hosting is not a separate product line — it is a property of where the server is. Choose the plan type that fits your workload, then confirm the region:
| Workload | Plan | Region |
|---|---|---|
| First site or blog | Shared hosting | [TO BE CONFIRMED] |
| WordPress or WooCommerce | WordPress hosting | [TO BE CONFIRMED] |
| Custom app or API | VPS hosting | [TO BE CONFIRMED] |
| Dedicated resources | VDS hosting | [TO BE CONFIRMED] |
| Whole machine | Dedicated hosting | [TO BE CONFIRMED] |
| Automation | n8n hosting | [TO BE CONFIRMED] |
Plan prices are [PRICE — TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER]. If the region you need is not available, tell sales before ordering — do not order and hope.
Included vs excluded
The included and excluded services are the same as for the underlying plan type — see the plan page for shared, WordPress, VPS, VDS, dedicated or n8n hosting. Offshore hosting adds a jurisdiction choice; it does not add or remove server features. Backups, SSL, panel licences and management scope are all per the plan page.
Management boundaries
Management boundaries are the same as for the underlying plan type: managed plans are managed, unmanaged plans are not. Jurisdiction does not change who patches the server or who is responsible for your application’s code.
Setup process
- Choose a plan type and confirm the region you need.
- Register a domain or point an existing one at our nameservers.
- Pay — provisioning starts after payment is confirmed. Provisioning time is [TO BE CONFIRMED].
- Set up your site or application, configure backups, and test before going live.
Migration conditions
Migration conditions are the same as for the underlying plan type, with one addition: moving a site between jurisdictions can have data-protection implications for your own compliance. Check your own obligations before moving personal data across borders. Migration scope and any fee are [PRICE — TO BE CONFIRMED BY OWNER].
Upgrade path
The upgrade path is the same as for the underlying plan type: shared → WordPress or VPS → VDS → dedicated, with n8n hosting alongside. A change of jurisdiction is a migration, not an upgrade — it means moving to a server in a different location.
Frequently asked questions
Is offshore hosting legal?
Hosting in another jurisdiction is legal in itself. What matters is what you host and whether it complies with the law of the server’s jurisdiction and any law that applies to you. We do not provide legal advice.
Does offshore hosting make my site anonymous?
No. Domain registration, payment and server logs all create records. Privacy protections depend on the jurisdiction and the provider’s policies — both [TO BE CONFIRMED] here.
Can I host content that is illegal in my home country?
That depends on the law of the server’s jurisdiction and on our acceptable-use policy. Content that is illegal where the server sits, or that violates our policy, will be actioned. Offshore hosting is not a way around the law.
Where are your servers located?
[TO BE CONFIRMED]. Locations will be listed per plan once verified.
Do you ignore DMCA or abuse complaints?
No. Abuse reports are handled under our acceptable-use policy and applicable law. The abuse channel is on the Contact page.
Can I pay anonymously?
Accepted payment methods are [TO BE CONFIRMED]. No payment method is claimed on this page until verified.
